Today was Lg's birthday, he turned 2!! And boy do we have a lot to celebrate! Its hard to believe that 2 years ago today, was one of the scariest days of our lives. Lg decided to come a few weeks too early and surprised us all! After spending some time on a ventilator and then enduring some big bumps in the road throughout his first year of life he continues to prove what a strong boy he is! The Lord has truly blessed us with an amazing little miracle! There is not a day that goes by that I remember what a blessing his life is.
Today we started the day with a yummy birthday doughnut that he enjoyed in his decorated birthday chair! Followed by some playing and then lunch with the family at Burger King, naps, and then a fun filled evening. I made some froggy cupcakes that were so cute! Lg's favorite part was blowing out the candles (he has been practicing for days)!! After having some cupcakes and ice cream then came presents!! What a great day it was!
I can't wait to see what the next year brings and how his little (or big) personality continues to unravel! We love you, Lg!! Happy Birthday!
